My life is a portal

My life is a portal on the vast Internet called life
And my family, work, leisure and entertainment are my folders
Each member of my family each company I worked for are my sub folders
And each folder has it’s music, videos and text files.

The files which give me satisfaction are locked away with password
And I forget the passwords quickly
But the files which are nightmare are always open
And they play by themselves as I open the mind browser.

The videos are vivid, play in HD in Dolby sound
Where I fell and got hurt
And where I had some triumph the files got corrupt or deleted by routine cleanup
Bad memories become part of the operating system

I want to format the hard disk of my life
And start with a new operating system
Could some one tell me how to back up my good files and erase the bad ones?
Could anyone tell me how to shut down and restart?
